Ingrid Alina Zaiss Baetzel
Ingrid was raised in the Kootenays and went to University in Victoria at UVIC . She has lived on the East Shore, Nelson, Calgary, Germany and Vancouver. In 1998, she and her husband, Juergen, moved from Vancouver back to the East Shore (Gray Creek, specifically) to raise a family. She lives on the property she was raised with Juergen and their two children, Zoe and Luka. In 2001, she took over as editor for The East Shore Mainstreet, and has taken it from a paste-up community paper to a digitized, high quality community newspaper/magazine and has now brought the online world of Mainstreet to the residents of the East Shore.
